This watch is sturdy and can take a beating. It's a watch you can work out in, run errands, tailgate, clean the garage and still works great. It's doesn't look bad either. With that said, it is definitely a sporty watch to me, though I don't think I would go swimming in it. If the face is not too thick and wide. I have a super small wrist, so I had to have links taken out. It took some efort on the jewelers part to remove links-we don't know why! If you're looking for a very stylish/fashionable watch, this is not a good choice. I don't even like a rolex because to me, a rolex is has the same feel and a similar look...but cost much, much more and will work w/o a battery (of course). I just like a watch to look nice and show me the time...I think this watch should be reduced in price. $100 for this watch is too much to pay, hence my 3-star rating. Other than that, I'm happy.
